Green Coast Builders was established by Tony Clark in 2021. He wanted to create a company based on a solid work ethic of high-quality, detail-oriented building. Our mission includes:

Newport House

This is the project that brought Tony out to Oregon. The client had originally only wanted the existing carpet removed and some painting done. But, as more of the house was opened up, more significant issues were found. In the end, the entire house was gutted and remodeled.

A client contacted us about finishing out a 2,300 sq ft residence with a basement ADU. The house was a shell when we arrived. Insulation was installed, it was then drywalled and texture.

Adult Foster Care

These clients run an adult foster care and were looking to convert their garage space and an existing bonus room into two new bedrooms. The interior garage area walls were removed, and the garage pad was sealed.

Newport Kitchen Remodel

Part of the whole house Newport Remodel, the kitchen was one of the main focal points of the house. A layout and design were created to optimize the space, allowing ample room for moving around, while enough room left over for sitting at the overhang countertop.

Bathroom Dryrot Repair and Remodel

This client contacted us about a soggy bathroom floor. We started demo-ing the area and ran into rot in the walls, in the floor joist/beam system and into the exterior. The job turned into a semi remodel, which the client was not prepared for. We worked with them to only replace what needed to be and re-installed everything we could.

Fences

We install all kinds of fences. The horizontal fence was something a client had seen around town and wanted to emulate. They requested the left side of the fence be 7’ tall in order to stop deer from getting into their yard. The left side of the fence is comprised of three gates.

Cedar Decking Porch Remodel

This client wanted the deck boards replaced, and the stairs widened. They did not want any reframing done of the deck joists and we honored that, leveling out the existing joists best we could. A new pad for the stairs was poured, new framing for the stairs, new cedar rails and skirt boards were installed and stained.

Front Door Replacement

The client wanted the existing French Doors replaced with a new single entryway door with sidelights. After finding the door they wanted, the French Doors were removed, the area reframed. The new door was installed on a new sill pan and the area to the sides of the door sheathed, wrapped, sided and new trim was installed on the interior and exterior. Interior and exterior were caulked and painted.

Composite Decking Front Porch

These clients wanted their front porch re-built with composite decking material. The existing porch decking and framing were removed and disposed of. New footings were poured, and the porch was re-framed with some slight stair width modifications that the client wanted in order to accommodate some flower potters. Lastly, a metal railing system was installed.

Balcony Remodel

A client was looking for options to replace or rebuild an en-suite balcony. Due to excessive rotting of the balcony joists, the client opted to eliminate the balcony. After discussing a possible bay window, the client opted to go with a matching sliding window. The existing sliding door was removed. The rotted joists and decking were removed, the area was re-framed for the window, insulated, re-sided, trimmed and painted. A belly band was installed where the joists had been removed. The interior was trimmed out and stained.

En-suite Bathroom Remodel

These clients were interested in turning a roughly 5’ by 9’ section of their master bedroom into an en-suite bathroom. We worked together to come up with a design that would check off all of their boxes in the smaller space.

Apartment Remodel

This client contacted us about remodeling a series of apartments that they had just purchased. The original contractor had left them a bit of a mess and they needed someone to step in and take over. We worked with them to finish out the apartments, remodeling the interiors, bathrooms and kitchens. Re-framing for exterior sliding doors, installing all new interior doors and trim, installing new drywall/texture and painting all interior areas.
